From 12:00 PM on February 5, 2025, until April 8, 2025, the INVITALIA Desk will be operational for the submission of applications for the use of PNRR Fund resources to support industrial transition.
The Fund aims to facilitate the adaptation of the Italian production system to EU policies on combating climate change with a financial allocation of 400 million euros.
Applications can be submitted by companies of any size operating throughout the national territory with investment programs ranging from 3 million to 20 million euros with at least one of the following purposes:
- greater energy efficiency in the execution of business activities in compliance with the limits and conditions set out in Title II of the director's decree of December 23, 2024;
- efficient use of resources, through the reduction of their use, including through reuse, recycling, or recovery of raw materials and/or the use of recycled raw materials in compliance with the limits and conditions set out in Title III of the same decree.
The incentives are granted in the form of non-repayable grants under the conditions and within the limits of the maximum aid intensities provided by the GBER Regulation and section 2.6: Aid for decarbonization of the "Temporary Framework." 40% of the resources are reserved for the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia, and Sicily. A share equal to 50% of the amount will be reserved for energy-intensive companies.
