Yesterday, at the Conference Hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Oristano and online, the meeting on "Territorial Planning Table: The Operational Planning of a Renewable Energy Community" was held. The event, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari - Oristano by the Business Services Center and the Oristano Provincial Industrial Consortium, generated considerable interest and active participation from businesses, associations, local institutions and citizens.
The meeting, moderated by the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce, Cristiano Erriu, offered significant and concrete insights for the establishment of a Renewable Energy Community (REC) among the economic operators of the territory. After the introductory greetings from the Vice President of the CAOR Chamber of Commerce, Ferdinando Faedda, and the President of the Oristano Provincial Industrial Consortium, Gianluigi Carta, high-level technical presentations followed.
Massimo Carbone, DINTEC Expert, illustrated the technical ABC of RECs, providing the necessary foundations to understand the functioning of these new realities. Subsequently, Mauro Marelli, also a DINTEC Expert, explored the fiscal aspects related to RECs, a topic of fundamental importance for interested businesses. Finally, Giovanni Carrada from GSE (Business Promotion and Assistance) illustrated the services offered by the Energy Services Manager in support of Renewable Energy Communities.
The question and answer session highlighted the great interest and desire for further exploration by the participants, confirming the importance of initiatives like this to promote the energy transition of the territory and foster new sustainable development opportunities for local businesses. The high participation and quality of the presentations have laid the foundations for future collaborations and for the concrete realization of Renewable Energy Communities in Oristano.
