M2C1 - Investment 1.1 - Intervention Line C

Description and purpose

Mission 2 (M2), named Green Revolution and Ecological Transition, addresses the major themes of sustainable agriculture, circular economy, energy transition, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency of buildings, water resources, and pollution, in order to improve the sustainability of the economic system and ensure a fair and inclusive transition towards a zero environmental impact society.

For current interests, the Mission in question provides investments and reforms for the circular economy and to improve waste management, strengthens infrastructure for separate waste collection, and modernizes or develops new waste treatment plants to achieve ambitious targets such as 65% recycling of plastic waste.

Through application to the Notice Measure M2C1 1.1 - Construction of new waste management plants and modernization of existing plants - Intervention Line C – modernization (including expansion of existing plants) and construction of new innovative treatment/recycling plants for the disposal of personal absorbent materials (PAD), sewage sludge, leather waste, and textile waste.
