What is the PNRR?

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) is the instrument that sets out the objectives, reforms and investments that Italy intends to implement through the use of European Next Generation EU funds, in order to mitigate the economic and social impact of the pandemic and make Italy a fairer, greener and more inclusive country, with a more competitive, dynamic and innovative economy.

The PNRR includes three cross-cutting priorities shared at European level (digitalisation and innovation, ecological transition and social inclusion) and is developed along 16 Components, grouped into 6 missions:

3. Infrastrutture per una Mobilità Sostenibile (M3)
4. Istruzione e Ricerca (M4)
5. Inclusione e Coesione (M5)
